My time in Peru has been quite the life changing experience. Everyday we drive 2 hours to the clinic site in crazy traffic. We almost get hit by other cars or buses. I hope some day I can be as good as the Peruvian drivers because they make there own driving rules and are fearless to there surroundings. My favourite word in Spanish is “Cinco Altos”. This is high five in English. I love saying this to the children I meet. It makes them so happy.
Everyone on the TWECS team has been so friendly and has made me feel so welcome. I have made some great friends and will have great memories of our trip.
