This is my first optometry trip with TWECS and my only regret is that I did not become involved with this amazing organization sooner. Although it has only been two days, it has been eye opening to see the impact we are having on the lives of the people around us.
I have heard about trips like these in the past, but seeing the amount of people who line up and the looks on their faces when they try on their first pair of glasses will be a memory that I will never forget. This experience has reassured me that I have chosen the right path to pursue in my career, and I look forward to everything else this trip has in store.

We, Ammama and Thatha, posted a comment before. It obviously didn't work. Here's another try.
ReplyDeleteOur dear Kaylan, we are so proud of you. This kind of work you are doing, serving those who are in need, is very noble. As for me, Thatha, it was my wish that I would qualify in the medical field and work in the villages of India serving the poor. Life took a different turn. But since our grandson is doing this our heart is fulfilled. We feel so thrilled and proud! May Swami bless you in all your endeavours! Jai Sai Ram!!!
Thank you Ammama and Thatha, I wouldn’t be anywhere without the example you both have set! Love you both.
DeleteYou should be very proud of Kaylan. He worked hard with always a smile when we needed him. I have no doubt that he will be an outstanding optometrist.
